AI Assistant (Brainbox) - Built-in AI creative writing assistant. Click on the robot icon on the top right to open the Brainbox chat panel (on the right). [Tools]
Address bar - Horizontal bar at the top of a window, showing the current page's URL, page-specific settings & permissions. [Navigation]
Apps - Tabs that have extra features: permanent icon in the group tabstrip, Tooltip menu, Sleep settings, Notifications, Badges, Link engine rules. [Navigation]
App Settings - Change the app icon, border color, sleep and notification settings, and more. Right-click on an app icon and click on App Settings. [Tools]
App Store - Over 3000+ connections for your favorite apps. [Tools]
Auto-Wake - Periodically wake sleeping tabs to check for new items, update unread badges, and deliver notifications. [Performance]
Bookmarks Bar - An optional bar is in the main and secondary windows for using bookmarks, as in Chrome. Enabled in Settings > Bookmarks. [Navigation]

Chromium Updates - Updates to the underlying browser engine that powers Wavebox. Always update to the latest version for the latest security patches. [Updates & Security]
Collection (Widget) - Save shortcuts to apps and tabs in Wavebox. It can be used to save tab sessions using the space icon. [Tools]
Compact Title Bar - Enable this to hide the title bar icons in the main window and save room. [Navigation]
Connect - Built-in remote working tools; one-click chat, audio and video calls, screen share and file share. [Tools]
Connect Sidebar - Panel showing teams and user avatars. Click on the telephone icon top-right once to show the mini sidebar, and click again to show the full chat panel. [Navigation]
Dashboards - Organize web resources using a set of widgets. These can be used as an app or as a new tab page. [Tools]
Desktop Web Apps - Install your favorite web apps on your computer. [Tools]
Default Browser - Set Wavebox as your computer's OS default browser for the best experience. Got to Settings > Default Browser. [OS Intergration]
Default Mail Handler - Makes Wavebox handle email links when clicked. When clicking an email link, Wavebox presents a list of available webmail accounts to start composing a message. [OS Integration]
Default Space - The main Space in a profile. Used under the hood for extensions and other bits and bobs. [Navigation]
Dividers (tab strip) - Vertical lines to separate app icons in the tab strip. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs]
Dividers (webdock) - Collapsable horizontal lines for groups/apps in the webdock. Icons below a divider will collapse into it. Available in all webdock layouts. [Tools]
Dock Icon (macOS) - The main Wavebox icon in your computer's OS. Displays a total unread badge, which can be disabled. [OS Integration]
Downloads - panel showing all your recent downloads. [Tools]
Drag and Drop - Long click, then drag group icons, app icons or tabs to move them. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs]
Explorer Layout (Webdock) - tree-style view of the webdock, showing group/app/tab hierarchy. Collapsable [Navigation]
Extensions - Add any extension from the Chrome web store. [Appearance & Customization]
Embedded iFrame (widget) - display content from other websites on your dashboard. [Tools]
Fast Actions - Displayed in the group & app tooltips for apps that support them. Shortcuts to kickstart tasks within the app, for example creating a new Google doc. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs]
Focus Mode - Disable notifications, sounds, and badges for a set period of time. Click the bell icon in the bottom left to display the focus mode modal. [Tools]
Global Search - Keyword search across all apps, tabs, widgets and smart notes in Wavebox. Click the search icon top-right to launch, or use the Ctrl+S shortcut. The global search popup also shows the last 5 apps and the last 100 tabs used. [Navigation]
Google Calendar (widget) - add your Google Calendar to any dashboard. [Tools]
Groups - Rounded square icons in the webdock. Use these to organize apps and tabs - each group has its own tab strip. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs]
Home (House) Icon - This takes you back to an app's home (original) URL. icon in the toolbar at the top left, next to the navigation icons. It can be changed in app settings > home URL. [Navigation]
Incognito window - Private browsing. Burger menu > New incognito window. [Navigation]
Info Card (widget) - Image and text widget for dashboards. [Tools]
Integrated Apps - Apps that receive updates even when sleeping. Examples are Gmail, Outlook, Trello, Slack, ClickUp. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs]
Keyboard Shortcuts - X pre-set shortcuts, plus X that are customizable. Go to: Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts [Shortcuts]
Link Opening Engine - Customize where new tabs open by creating rules. Links between apps are created automatically. Right-click on any hyperlink to create a new rule. [Tools]
List Layout (webdock) - Layout for the webdock that displays all groups in all spaces (no spaces icons). [Navigation]

Master Password (profile sync & templates) - You must set a master password when syncing passwords via the cloud, or sharing groups/profiles. [Passwords & Privacy]
Merge (Groups) - Merge two groups by dragging one on top of the other. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs]
Menu Bar (macOS) - Displayed along the top of your computer's OS. There's a small rounded square for each active profile that displays an unread count. Also, a shortcut to Wavebox features: Mini, Focus Mode, Navigator, and to Quit that profile. Can be customized in Settings > Menu Bar Icons. [Navigation]
Mute App Audio - Right-click on an app and select Mute, or click the audio icon in the app tooltip (top right) [Tools]
My Wavebox - Your account admin area, plus billing, team seat management. Hover over the settings cog and select 'My Wavebox'. [Plans]
My Wavebox (widget) - Report of your app usage over a given period. [Tools]
Navigator - Visual map of everything in Wavebox, with multiple views to choose from, including tabs by CPU and tabs by memory. [Tools]
New Tab Page - Configure what is shown in your new tabs. [Navigation]
Notifications - Get desktop notifications from your apps. They appear on your desktop, in the Group tooltip menu, and in the notifications tab in the Wavebox Mini. [Badges & Notifications]
Omnibox - See Address Bar. [Navigation]
Password Manager - Save your passwords to the built-in password manager to stay signed in. [Passwords & Privacy]
Power Save Mode - option to auto-conserve memory when battery life is low. Can be enabled/disabled in Settings. [Performance]
Privacy Lock - Screensaver for Wavebox with a PIN code, password or biometrics. Activates after a set period of inactivity. Click on the padlock icon at the bottom left to activate. Right-click on it to set it up. [Passwords & Privacy]
Privacy Settings - go to My Wavebox > Security & Privacy. [Passwords & Privacy]
Profiles - Completely separate Waveboxes, with their own settings, extensions, features and notifications. [Navigation]
Profile Backups - Periodic automatic backups. Go to My Wavebox > Profile Backups. [Profiles & Sync]
Profile Sync - Sync your profile with your other computers via the cloud. [Profiles & Sync]
Profile Manager - Pop-up window to launch, add, and edit your Profiles. Option to launch on Startup. Click on the Profile icon top-right, then click on the cog (gear) icon. [Profiles & Sync]
Profile Menu - Click on the profiles (user) icon top-right to see a list of your profiles, your subscription information and a link to My Wavebox. [Profiles & Sync]
Quick Switch - Control+Tab to toggle the last 5 used tabs. [Navigation] [Tools]
Right-click menu - Spaces, Groups, Apps, tabs, on any page, tab strip and webdock for menus with extra settings. [Navigation]
Restore Tabs from other devices - Manually sync tabs between computers that are connected to the same cloud profile. Hover over the + icon in the tab strip. [Profiles & Sync]
Rooms (Connect) - Used with Connect for calls and screenshares. [Tools]
RSS (widget) - Get RSS feeds on your dashboard. Can be popped out on to your desktop. [Tools]
Search (widget) - add search to any dashboard. [Tools]
Secondary windows - Support for any number of secondary windows. Drag tabs from secondary windows to the main window. [Navigation]
Sessions - Click on the window Spaces icon and pick 'Send all tabs to dashboard' to save as a session (Collection widget) that can be used again. [Spaces, Groups, Apps and Tabs] [Tools]
Settings - Click the cog in the webdock for main settings. Sections for General settings, Groups/App settings, Spaces settings. [Customization]
Skills (Brainbox) - AI prompts saved in the page right-click menu. Right-click on the page, and select Brainbox > Customize Skills. Create your own in seconds. [Tools] [Brainbox]
Sleep - Automated function that automatically sleeps inactive tabs after a period of time to save resources. Sleep is set for all apps, but can be customized in app settings. Instantly sleep groups and apps using the icon right-click menu. [Performance]
Smart Notes - Create a note for any URL and save in the Smart Note pad. Click on the Smart Note pad extension icon top-right to create a new note for the tab in use. Smart Note widget is also available for dashboards. [Tools]
Spaces - Used to contain website cookies. Cookies are not shared across spaces for privacy and security. Enables multi-account sign-in. [Spaces, Groups, Apps & Tabs]
Spaces Indicator Icon (address bar) - Space info for the tab that's being used. [Navigation]
Spaces Layout (webdock) - Default layout for the webdock. Displays space icons at the top, and shows groups in the select space beneath. [Navigation]
Spaces Drag & Drop Manager - Manage and edit spaces and apps using a drag-and-drop interface. Go to Settings > Links > Drag & Drop Manager. [Spaces, Groups, Apps & Tabs]
Split Screen - Use 2 apps/tabs side by side, vertically or horizontally. [Tools]
Start page - Customize what you see as the start page for each space or group using Dashboards. [Tools]
Start-Up Settings - Configure how you want Wavebox to start up. [Customization]
Sticky Notes (widget) - Colored notes for dashboards. Can be popped out and placed on the desktop. [Tools]
Tab Restore (from other devices) - manually sync tabs with a cloud profile. [Profiles & Sync]
Tabstrip - Horizontal bar in each group/app. Right-click on the tab strip and select 'Tabs' to change the layout - choose to show tabs for an app or all tabs for the group. [Navigation] [Spaces, Groups, Apps & Tabs]
Tab scroll - Option to scroll tabs in the tabstrip in Settings > Tabs [Navigation]
Tab color indicator - A colored strip on a tab to indicate its parent app. [Navigation]
Tab Folders - Arrange tabs into folders in a tree-style view. Only available in the Explorer webdock layout. [Navigation]
Tab Groups - Use as in Chrome. [Navigation]
Task Widget - Create mini to-do lists on a Dashboard. [Tools]
Task Manager - View real-time CPU and memory information. Burger menu > more tools > task manager. Or via Navigator. [Performance]
Teams - Additional price band for teams of 2 or more. Features include Connect, consolidated billing, shared dashboards, Wavebox Live and more. [Plans]
Team Feed (widget) - Timeline of team activity for your dashboard [Tools]
Templates - Create a template of any group or profile to share with yourself or others. Using a simple wizard you can create a URL share code that can be emailed or added to a team. [Tools]
Theme - Customize how Wavebox looks in Settings > Appearance. Use any theme from the Chrome web store. [Customization]
