Tips & Tricks

  • Multiple Lists
    • Add multiple Task widgets to separate personal tasks from team tasks.
  • Share with a Team
    • Place your Task widget in a shared dashboard so everyone can see and update the same tasks.
  • Combine with Other Widgets
    • Position the Task widget alongside RSS feeds, Notes, or other widgets in the same dashboard.

Troubleshooting

  • Task Widget Not Appearing
    • Check you have clicked Tasks in the Widget Library and are on a Wavebox dashboard (not a regular tab or generic new tab page).
  • Pop-Out Window Missing
    • Use the 'magic wand' icon in Wavebox’s main toolbar to bring popped-out widgets to the front.
    • To enable the magic wand, open main Settings > General > Appearance > Secondary window title bar > Click on the magic wand.
  • Lost Tasks or Deleted Widget
    • Removing the widget removes all tasks; there’s no undo. If they’re critical, share or duplicate the widget before deleting.
  • Tasks Not Syncing on Another Computer
    • Ensure that dashboards are included in sync: Go to: Settings > General > Data & Sync and look for 'Sync Status'. Then check that 'dashboards' are highlighted in green.
