✅ Widget: RSS

The RSS Widget lets you quickly view and track updates from blogs, news sites, and other RSS-enabled pages directly on your Wavebox dashboard. Add one or more RSS widgets to monitor multiple feeds side-by-side.

Add an RSS Widget

  • Add Widget
    • In any dashboard, click the Add Widget button top-right.
    • From the Widget Library, pick RSS Feed.
  • Enter the feed URL
    • Paste a valid RSS feed link (e.g., https://example.com/feed) when prompted.
    • The RSS widget will load the latest items from that feed.

Manage Your Feeds

  • View and Read Items
    • Each entry in the RSS widget displays the article’s title (plus a snippet if available).
    • Click an item to open and read the full article in Wavebox.
  • Add More Feeds
    • Repeat the “Add Widget” steps for each RSS feed you want to follow.
    • You can keep multiple RSS widgets on the same dashboard.
  • Widget Settings
    • Hover over the widget and click the cog icon to access settings.
    • Show or hide previews to customize how much information is displayed.
    • Delete the widget if you no longer need it.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Feed Not Loading
    • Check the URL—it must be a valid RSS link (often ending in .xml, .rss, or /feed).
    • Some sites may not offer a public RSS feed, or may require login (unsupported by the widget).
  • No Recent Updates
    • The widget auto-refreshes periodically; give it time to fetch new content.
    • Reload the dashboard or restart Wavebox if you suspect an update delay.
  • Multiple Dashboards
    • You can place RSS widgets in different dashboards to separate work and personal feeds.
    • Copy or move an existing widget to another dashboard via the cog menu in the widget header.
