🤖 Widget: My Wavebox
The My Wavebox widget provides an overview of your time in Wavebox. It tracks usage across each app, records memory saved by sleeping tabs, and displays notifications received. Use it to gain insights into your browsing habits and manage performance.
Privacy Note: Data for this widget is generated and stored locally on your computer, so nobody else can see it or access it.
Add 'My Wavebox' Widget
- Add the Widget
- In any dashboard, click Add Widget button top-right.
- Select My Wavebox from the Widget Library.
- Position & Resize
- Drag the widget to a preferred spot.
- Hover over its edge or corner to resize.
What It Shows
- Top Apps - Lists your most frequently used apps and total time spent.
- Memory Saved - Displays how much RAM you’ve saved by letting Wavebox sleep inactive tabs.
- Notifications - Shows how many notifications came through for your apps.
- Time Periods - Check usage for today, yesterday, this week, or the last 30 days.
Tips & Tricks
- Pop-Out - Click the pop-out icon to detach My Wavebox as a floating window. Resize and move it freely.
- Multiple Dashboards - Mirror the same widget across different dashboards by adding it again from “Active Widgets” or via the widget’s menu.
Common Questions
- Why Are All My Stats 0? - The widget begins tracking once added. Use apps for a while and check back. Also ensure Sleep is enabled for memory savings.
- Numbers Not Updating? - Update Wavebox to the latest version. If issues persist, remove the widget, restart Wavebox, and add it back.
- Different Computers, Different Stats - Data is not synced across devices. Each Wavebox installation tracks usage independently.
- Remove the Widget - Hover over My Wavebox, click the cog icon, and select Remove to stop tracking.
