✅ Widget: Info Card

The Info Card widget lets you add an image, text, and link to your Wavebox Dashboard. Use it to highlight important info or share a handy shortcut right where you work.

Add the Info Card Widget

  • Add a Widget
    • Click Add Widget (top-right corner).
    • Choose Info Card from the Widget Library.
  • Place & Resize
    • Drag the Info Card to your desired spot.
    • Drag from the bottom-right corner to resize.

Edit the Info Card

  • Open Edit Mode
    • Hover over the widget > click the Settings (cog) icon.
  • Add Content
    • Image: Upload or pick an image to display.
    • Text: Type a title or short description.
    • Link: Paste a URL. Clicking the card opens this link.
  • Save & Exit
    • Your changes save automatically.
    • Click outside or close settings to exit.
  • Position & Resize
    • Click and drag the Task widget to move it around.
    • Drag an edge or corner to resize.

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t Find Info Card:
    Make sure you’re using the latest Wavebox version. Info Card is in the Widget Library on newer releases.
  • Image Not Showing:
    Check the format (.png or .jpg) and re-upload if needed.
  • Link Not Opening:
    Ensure the URL includes https:// or http://, and that you’re out of Edit mode.
  • Not Syncing for Team:
    Confirm that you’ve shared the dashboard with your team. Ask them to refresh or reopen the dashboard if it doesn’t appear immediately.

Tips

  • Multiple Dashboards: You can add the same Info Card to multiple Dashboards without recreating it. Click on 'Add Widget' and then choose the 'Active Widget' tab in the Library.
  • Pop Out: Float the Info Card in a separate window using the pop-out option in the widget’s settings.
