Spaces Indicator Icon
The Spaces Indicator Icon is a small circle in the Wavebox address bar that shows the active Space for the current tab or app. Use it to see which Space you’re in at a glance and quickly switch tabs to different Spaces.
Overview

- Location: To the right of the address bar (circle icon).
- Purpose: Identify the current Space; switch the active tab to a different Space.
- Benefits: Keep multiple logins separate (e.g., personal vs. work), reduce cookie conflicts.
Check Your Current Space
- Look for the circle icon in the top-right of the address bar.
- Click on it to see the Space name (e.g., “Work” or “Home”).
- If you’re unsure about the Spaces you have set up, you can check them by going to: Settings Cog > Spaces Tab.
Switch Tabs to Another Space
When using List or Explorer Layout for the webdock, you may want to open a tab/link in a specific Space. For example, you may be working in your 'Work' space, but want to open a tab in the Client A space, so you stay correctly signed-in. Here's how to do it:
- Click the Spaces indicator icon.
- Select Open in Space from the dropdown menu.
- Pick the Space you want to use from the list (e.g., “Work,” “Home,” or a custom Space).
- The tab will reload using the new Space’s cookies and login data.
Note: You’ll see this option only if you have at least two Spaces created.
